Weight Wait for it.... 208.2 lbs. A total of 4.2 lbs. lost after a week on F21 Sugar Blocker.
That is after going on my annual fall retreat, where I usually gain weight. The food is so good at Camp Spofford.
Day 1
Breakfast - I had a big scoop of bacon egg and cheese scramble, chicken sausage, and a small slice of pineapple. I did not have juice like I normally would. It seemed like it would be too sweet. The bagel and cream cheese and the baked oatmeal also did not appeal to me. Went off to the morning session, not feeling uncomfortably full and sleepy. It is nice.
Lunch - Calzones with pepperoni and cheese (did not have) the thought of all that starchy bread did not appeal to me. Had a small spicy chicken breast, small bowl of creamy chicken noodle w/curry soup, spinach/strawberry salad with fried noodles in it. The breading on the chicken breast did not appeal to me, so I scraped it off and just ate the chicken. The soup was delicious. Had quite a bit of the spinach salad, but the fried noodles did not appeal to me, so I set them aside. Someone brought over a plate of cookies in little cupcake papers with mini reeses peanut butter cups in the center. Hold on to your hat. Those cookies sat there for 10 mins. and I did not eat any! It was not a test of will power; they did not appeal to me. Went off to the afternoon session without feeling bloated and uncomfortable. Not sleepy.
Supper - I have given F21 to my sister for the last 2 meals. We are both not pleased that we have to go to supper right now. Neither of us really want to eat. Rolls with butter - NO Rice with Chicken and mushrooms - small scoop fillet of sole in a light puff pastry - YES carrots and broccoli - yes
chocolate raspberry baked alaska - yes (I actually didn't really want this, but how often do you get baked alaska?)
It goes on that same way for breakfast on Sunday. No only was the sugar that I ate blocked, but anything that had to do with carbs and especially sugar, did not appeal to me. Sunday lunch I did not have a chance to get to my cabin to take my F21 before my meal. I ate a plateful of food, and then went back for a little more. Then, I ate a slice of red velvet cake, a little chocolate mousse bite sized thing and a canoli that the woman sitting next to me didn't want. (my old eating habits reared their ugly head)
Even with the cake and all that other stuff, I still lost 4 lbs. my first week on F21.
So far so good.
Also, I feel great. I have more energy and my mind is so much clearer. I have not been bloated at all, which is so wonderful. Being uncomfortably full and bloated after every meal is a terrible way to live. It is so wonderful to not dragging around all the time. I am contemplating exercise!
