Weight Wait for it.... 208.2 lbs. A total of 4.2 lbs. lost after a week on F21 Sugar Blocker.
That is after going on my annual fall retreat, where I usually gain weight. The food is so good at Camp Spofford.
Day 1
Breakfast - I had a big scoop of bacon egg and cheese scramble, chicken sausage, and a small slice of pineapple. I did not have juice like I normally would. It seemed like it would be too sweet. The bagel and cream cheese and the baked oatmeal also did not appeal to me. Went off to the morning session, not feeling uncomfortably full and sleepy. It is nice.
Lunch - Calzones with pepperoni and cheese (did not have) the thought of all that starchy bread did not appeal to me. Had a small spicy chicken breast, small bowl of creamy chicken noodle w/curry soup, spinach/strawberry salad with fried noodles in it. The breading on the chicken breast did not appeal to me, so I scraped it off and just ate the chicken. The soup was delicious. Had quite a bit of the spinach salad, but the fried noodles did not appeal to me, so I set them aside. Someone brought over a plate of cookies in little cupcake papers with mini reeses peanut butter cups in the center. Hold on to your hat. Those cookies sat there for 10 mins. and I did not eat any! It was not a test of will power; they did not appeal to me. Went off to the afternoon session without feeling bloated and uncomfortable. Not sleepy.
Supper - I have given F21 to my sister for the last 2 meals. We are both not pleased that we have to go to supper right now. Neither of us really want to eat. Rolls with butter - NO Rice with Chicken and mushrooms - small scoop fillet of sole in a light puff pastry - YES carrots and broccoli - yes
chocolate raspberry baked alaska - yes (I actually didn't really want this, but how often do you get baked alaska?)
It goes on that same way for breakfast on Sunday. No only was the sugar that I ate blocked, but anything that had to do with carbs and especially sugar, did not appeal to me. Sunday lunch I did not have a chance to get to my cabin to take my F21 before my meal. I ate a plateful of food, and then went back for a little more. Then, I ate a slice of red velvet cake, a little chocolate mousse bite sized thing and a canoli that the woman sitting next to me didn't want. (my old eating habits reared their ugly head)
Even with the cake and all that other stuff, I still lost 4 lbs. my first week on F21.
So far so good.
Also, I feel great. I have more energy and my mind is so much clearer. I have not been bloated at all, which is so wonderful. Being uncomfortably full and bloated after every meal is a terrible way to live. It is so wonderful to not dragging around all the time. I am contemplating exercise!
Please leave comments. If you can't leave them on the blog itself, leave them on my FB page, or tweet me. Thanks!

Blogging early today. I am off for the weekend on a retreat with my Mother and my sister, Sylvia, and a group of amazing women from Grace Evangelical Free Church. It's Sylvia's BD today, so those of you who know her, give her a shout out!
Today's blog is brought to you by Heidi, who is my friend from work. I asked her for confirmation about my sugar fog on Wednesday, and BOY did she. She wrote all this stuff that I didn't even know about!! Thanks Heidi.
"I can attest to the fact that without a doubt Amanda has more energy and more clarity. I also have witnessed for the last 3 years there have been multiple times after lunch when Amanda would say to me, "I wish I had coffee..I feel like I could fall asleep." Since she has taken F21 that has not happened. Until the day she forgot to take it at a lunch... I was right next to her when she realized she forgot to take it. Without a doubt there is a huge difference. She had symtoms of tiredness and dizziness thats when she realized she forgot to take it.I also noticed that Amanda seems happier and more positive which is pretty hard because if you really know Amanda that is her demeanor anyway!! I trust Amanda's judgement as a healthcare professional that is why I too have started using F21. I have lost about 33lbs with Weight Watchers and have quite a bit more to go. So I am in it for the weight loss. The benefit for me so far is that I have lost weight and I am starting to have the clarity that Amanda has blogged about.
Thanks Amanda!! Love ya!!---Heidi "
Thank YOU Heidi, Love you too!
Have a great weekend everyone. As always, if you want to try F21 check out my website. It is a whole food supplement, all natural, organic. Only side effects are losing weight and feeling better.

All kinds of interesting things have happened to me since the last time I checked in.
I am understanding now why Ludaxx says that weight loss is a side effect of the F21. Weight loss is not what this product was designed for. (I will talk about that in the next paragraph) I have not lost weight yet, but I have not gained. Interestingly though, my scrubs are not as tight as they were so there are definitely changes occurring. This is not a product that is going to make you suddenly shed tons of false weight (which is mostly just water); This is a product that is going to truly help you lose real weight as a consequence of having stable blood sugar and helping to block sugar calories. I am not a big sugar eater, (it's the dental hygienist in me) so therefore it is going to be a slower more gradual process for me, than for someone who suddenly has a lot of sugar calories removed from their diet.
I remember one time when I stopped drinking soda daily; I lost ten pounds in a couple of weeks.
Let's talk now about why I have shifted my focus on this product. I feel so great. I have felt great since Sunday. I am realizing now, that I was probably a lot closer to type II Diabetes than I cared to admit. Lately I had been feeling light headed, foggy, a little dizzy, very forgetful, and it was hard to focus my eyes. I was about to make an appointment with George Tzepos. (he's my eye guy) just figured I would give him a little plug for those who live in or near Seymour, he's the best eye guy around. OK, back to my regularly scheduled rambling. I was in bad shape and pretty scared. Too scared to go get my blood sugar checked (stupid). Why do we always think that if we put something off, it will go away; it never does. I kept thinking the reason that I felt that way was because I was tired. Enter F21. I have been clear of the the brain fog and eye focus issues since the first time I used it. Not just clear. Razor sharp. My brain is zooming! I actually THINK now, and go through my day with purpose instead of just stumbling through and doing whatever I have to do to get by. I finally got my sleep apnea fixed, and then all of this started. I have been living on auto-pilot for years.
So, I have not missed using F21 before my meal since Sunday, with the exception of yesterday at lunch. I only had five minutes to maow (sp?) down a ham sandwich and get my next patient in the chair. I didn't realize that I forgot to take my F21 until 10 mins. later when I was cleaning my room. The dizziness hit me like a wall. All the awful stuff that I described in the last paragraph came rushing into my head like a wave. Heidi, if you are reading this a comment would be great, because you were there to witness it. I managed to drag through my afternoon, but it wasn't fun. Suffice it to say that I will NOT be forgetting to take my F21 before a meal again.
This is why weight loss is considered a side effect, and not the main use for F21. Being thin is great, but being healthy is so much more better. I had a powerful lesson in the toxicity of sugar yesterday and I realize that this product can help so many people keep their blood sugar stable and help to keep diabetes at bay. I AM going to have my fasting blood sugar tested. High blood sugar is very dangerous and nothing to ignore. I am so grateful to Jon's Uncle Karl for telling me about this, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to tell all of you about it too. I feel better than I have in years, and I haven't even tried the antioxidant capsules, or the cleansing tea yet. Watch out world. I'm Back!

October 15, 2012 Day two on F21
Let's get straight to the results, and then I will talk a little bit about how I feel.
Starting weight yesterday 212.4
weight this morning 210.4
I am the type of person who can gain or lose 5 lbs. in a day depending on water weight, so while this could be a fluke, I am taking it as a positive. I did not stay the same and I did not gain. I am hoping that this is the beginning of a trend.
On to how I feel today. While I understand the concept of placebo, I am going to state that I actually feel really good. I got a terrible night's sleep and have not been walking around in my usual fog today. Quite honestly the whole world looked more in focus. Also, I did not feel much like eating today. (I will pause here so that the earth can get back onto it's axis.) I have an understanding now of how Jon feels when he tells me that to him eating is a waste of time. (my husband thinks eating is boring. If he could swallow a pill that would fulfill all of his daily requirements he would do that and only supplement with coffee.) The first time he said these things to me, I felt like shaking him! How had I misjudged a person so thoroughly??? I found this out after we were married. Thank goodness for Andrew. Having someone to talk to about food has probably saved my marriage on more than one occasion. Sorry for the rant. Eating was not important to me today. Hallelujah. I made choices based on what would be the right thing to eat VS. I am shaky from low blood sugar I'll eat anything.
I hate to feel hungry because of that terrible shaky feeling that comes with it. Today I never felt that. I definitely had some moments where my stomach registered that I needed food, but it was in a "running lean, good feeling" kind of way. I didn't feel it in a, "I need food or imma cut a bitch" kind of way.
So to summarize: 2 lbs. less, no brain fog, no low blood sugar shaky feeling. Also less swelling in my ankles and hands, and no bloating. I consider day two on F21 a success. Take care and thanks for the comments.
If you want to look up the ingredients in F21, there are only 3. L-Arabinose, Polysaccaride Krestin, and Konjac Google them. You will be surprised at what you find out.
Tomorrow I'll discuss what it tastes like.
Have a great day and here is the link if you want to find out more.

October 14, 2012 Day one of my weight loss journey on Ludaxx F21
I am the poster child for yo-yo dieting and for trying every weight loss program there is. I have tried most of the standards like, low carb/ high protein, eating off a smaller plate and meal replacement shakes, you know the ones. I have also tried some more of the out-of- the-box options like, sensa, deal-a-meal and hypnosis. All of these options actually helped somewhat, well, except the sensa. (I knew that idea was ridiculous before it even came in the mail!) The best, so far, has been the low carb/ high protein, (I lost 30 lbs. in 2 months.) and eating less and walking everyday. (At that point I had just found out about my heart condition and I was terrified.) The problem with almost all of these programs was me. I can't stick to a diet or an exercise program to save my life. LITERALLY, to save my life! I am 47 years old, I have a heart condition, (peripartum cardiomyopathy), I am 60lbs overweight, and I have sleep apnea. (I use a CPAP machine to sleep) I need to do something about my weight and my lack of sleep asap or I am going to start down a road that includes high cholesterol, diabetes and all the other scary stuff in that category.
As a dental hygienist, I had to take classes in human physiology and nutrition, thus I have an excellent understanding of how the body processes food. Intellectually, I understand everything that I am doing wrong. Knowing what to eat and when and how to mix foods together at meals to create protein and balance blood sugar is all well and good until you sit down at the dinner table with a bowl of spaghetti in front of you. All concept of portion control goes out the window; especially since the other people I eat with can consume those quantities and need those quantities. My dinner companions are my husband, who only eats one meal a day, (supper), and two growing teenage boys (both over 6 ft tall). I am also a really good cook and that gets me into trouble BIG TIME! I love food. I am embarrassed to admit it, but it's the truth. I absolutely love everything about food. I love buying it, I love cooking it, I love smelling it and I love eating it. My best friend Andrew and I have entire conversations about meals that we had and how amazing they were. It is a good thing that he lives in L.A. and we don't get a chance to eat together very often. The consequences would be devastating!
Ok, now I will get to the point. Jon's Uncle Karl sent me an email that contained a link to a product that he is very excited about. Karl is a Naturopathic Physician, so I value his opinion highly in matters of health, (and in other areas too; he is a very brilliant man). Anyway, this product is a whole food supplement that blocks sugar from being absorbed into your body. I will tell you why this is so important. Sugar in our blood stream causes our pancreas to put out insulin. Insulin in our blood stream puts our body in a state where it cannot burn fat. Insulin also tells our liver to produce cholesterol. (our cholesterol levels are 20% what we eat and 80% what we manufacture). Our pancreas' can only take so much before they finally stop producing the amounts of insulin we require to remove the sugar from out blood, and then we develop type II diabetes. When our bodies cannot control our blood sugar it remains too high. This inhibits our bodies ability to heal, injures our kidneys and also kills brain cells. I don't want to even think about the cancer causing capabilities. Basically, you may as well have acid running through your veins.
Enter F21 for those of us who cannot seem to control what we put in our mouths. As I said, it is a whole food supplement, which means it is made from food, not from chemicals and not from food that has been altered to be unrecognizable to the body. (ie. high fructose corn syrup) Whole food supplements are where it's at. Our bodies recognize them as the food. Period.
At the end of today's blog, I will install a link to the F21 video, so that you can see the very cool way that it works; is it pretty, freakin' awesome.
So I am going to blog about my results. Other than the fact that I will be taking F21, I am not going to change a thing about my eating or exercising habits, since that would skew things.
Since I already laid everything out on the table like a game of truth or dare, I will lay this out too. I am starting my journey a 212 lbs. My goal is 150 lbs., which I feel to be a very reasonable weight for a woman who it 5'9". (I was 130 in college, but I am trying my best to set a realistic goal.) I will weigh myself every morning and blog daily if possible. (I promise the other blogs will be shorter.)
Enjoy the video. It is fairly short, animated and easy to understand. Thanks for hanging in to read all of this.
